Fresh Paint | Fresh Start
'THE UNFINISHED PAINT EFFECT'
Christmas is a busy time for most & one where we often do a little reflecting on the year that's past, as well as start to look ahead to the New Year - A fresh start, a clean slate... Time to write a new story! We are not ones to make New Years resolutions as such as we feel it starts the year 'under pressure' but we definitely think about things we'd like to achieve... Often it starts with little things like looking around the house (having spent a number of days glued to the sofa over Christmas) thinking 'we still haven't filled that crack' (as you're staring up at the ceiling from the sofa)!! or perhaps the whole house needs a new lick of paint... For some reason most of us feel the need to make some changes at the start of the year however big or small. If a new look for the home is what you are after then today's blog may just inspire you - The 'unfinished paint effect' - (If you are one to start a job & never actually finish it, then this is definitely the look for you) ;-) !

'Imperfect beauty' has been something interior design has embraced for many years now, but it has also become about how we apply things to the home ourselves (such as paint) rather than something just being physically old & worn with time. Applied in the right way, in the right situation we love this loose/informal, fun approach to Interior design!
