Colour Blocking

PLAYING WITH COLOUR

Colour Blocking, a striking trend inspired by art continues into 2015... You may think colour blocking is too bold an option for the home, but this is not necessarily true, we think it can be used to create both sophisticated & fun looks! The easiest way to keep colour blocking simple is to make sure everything is within the same colour family. We like playing with paint & geometric shapes, but you can keep it as simple as adding splashes of colour to neutral backdrops, such as adding block coloured cushions to a plain sofa. Here's our take on it (& a few Olive Tree products to inspire you)...

Our handmade ceramic table lamps, available in 30 colours are the perfect way to introduce those splashes of colour. Shown here in Jade, Bruyere & Vanille.
Our colourful fabric cables are a great & simple way to introduce little splashes of block colour. Available in 18 colours.
